Ohio Liquor (OHLQ) is a unique public/private partnership that ensures the safe and fair distribution of high-proof liquor across the state of Ohio. All profits from the sale of liquor on the site fund economic development in Ohio. OHLQ advocates for responsible consumption of alcohol, while also promoting local distillers and producers. OHLQ also seeks out premium small-batch producers and makes them available to Ohioians.
Challenge
OHLQ was seeing high bounce rates and poor engagement with its seasonally-driven cocktail recipe content. Consumers would come to the site but purchase their “same old” products rather than try something new. With seasonal recipes, the OHLQ team was looking to inspire consumers to break out of their comfort zone and try new liquors and spirits they otherwise would not have considered.
Solution
