The Challenge
Despite their market dominance and premium creative, this consumer tech brand’s click-through rate (CTR) was falling short of expectations at double their internal performance benchmark. This led the brand to suspect that media efficiency, not creative quality, was the bottleneck.
The Turning Point
In order to improve their media’s performance, the brand partnered with inPowered AI to activate a cutting-edge solution for their programmatic buying. This was a new approach designed to optimize media spend at the impression-buying level.
inPowered AI harnessed log-level DSP data to power a custom AI model that identifies high-value audiences with precision beyond traditional segmentation. The model was hosted in Index Exchange and used dozens of signals including page URL, browser version, device brand, device carrier, zip code, city, state, latitude and longitude.
Unlike typical audience segmentation or static deal lists, this AI model had unthrottled access to evaluate every impression in real time. When it detected high-likelihood engagement opportunities, it stamped those impressions with a unique deal ID, directing the budget where it was most effective.
